failure is the virtual way to prepare for great responsibilities

We once again have amazingly arrived at the week which here in the U.S. we stop and say thanks for all we have been given.

With that in mind, I thought I would write a quick note this morning about having gratitude in what goes wrong. Eventually… when we open ourselves up to it… what goes wrong will always lead to something even more right.

Not so long ago I saw a meme online that said, “When something goes wrong in your life simply yell… plot twist!”  I love that idea because it helps us to ride into the curves so much more gracefully, instead of fighting it every step of the way :)

When a failure or misstep happens, it can make change mandatory… bringing with it the need to flip your script.

Last week I presented a webinar on the Master Mind Principle of Failure and I encourage you during your time this week either while driving, walking, running and just sitting in your comfy chair by the fire to give the recording a listen as my Thanksgiving gift to you.

Here is what we uncovered:

- It’s always best to remove the elephant from the room.

- Each of us is a Hero if we decide to claim our story.

- Your Inner Critic is actually your protector.

- Shame wastes a lot of time in dealing with our human realities.

- Embrace change – don’t fight it.

So as you head into this week of family, friends, pumpkin pie, and turkey - remember who are because of the script changes you were handed. Remember to smile when you are asked to flip the script and keep your eyes wide open to the possibilities all around you.

Wishing you power and grace.  And don’t forget that Small Business Saturday is this Saturday November 28th.  Pay homage to a small business you know online or offline.  I know a ton of entrepreneurs out there who are truly making a difference!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
