Welcome to 2009!

A new year unfolds before us! We now have less than 365 days to get those things accomplished that we want to see happen before the year 2010 arrives. Is it doable? You bet! While the economic downfall brings us many challenges it also brings us many opportunities in the year ahead. It allows us to see the world in a different perspective.

In this third issue of Victory Woman Magazine we bring to you ideas to help you move forward in embrace challenges instead of running from them. After all, isn’t a Victory Woman the one who makes the incredible pitcher of lemonade with the lemons?

Along with this editorial is a picture I recently snapped of a seagull hanging out a restaurant along the ocean in Southern California. Do you think this bird was waiting for someone to invite her to an opportunity of a few delights there at the restaurant? Nope, she was there ready and waiting for what could come her way…perhaps we should adjust our thinking accordingly as we embark into the year ahead.
